Description

This is the signature mouthpiece of Howard Engstrom, Principle Emeritus of the Calgary Philharmonic. It has a 1.5 cushion rim similar in size to a Bach 1-1/2C. The cup is a larger Wedge 1.25Cm, more similar to a Bach 1C in size. This combination produces an efficient mouthpiece with a big orchestral sound.

This top must be used with a Wedge, Warburton, or similar backbore, which can be purchased separately.

Gold plated stainless steel tops are available by special order, but cannot be returned. Email Dr Dave if you are interested in that option.
