Wedge flugelhorn mouthpieces are in two parts with a screw on shank that allows you to use it on a Flugel having a Standard (American, Yamaha), Bach, or French receiver. There are also backbores to use the top in a trumpet or cornet. Regular trumpet or cornet backbores will not work with flugelhorn tops.
