These tops are designed to be used with a Wedge, Warburton, or similar
backbore. The advantage of the top and backbore system is that it allows
you to mix and match backbores of different sizes, weights, and lengths
to customize your equipment. Original Line Wedge mouthpieces are only available as separate tops, not as one piece mouthpieces.
Original Wedge mouthpiece tops come in a full range of rim diameters and cup depths to allow you to fine tune your mouthpiece selection. For many players the Original Wedge line feels more familiar when changing from a conventional rim, so it can be a good choice for players who have difficulty adjusting to a new mouthpiece.
